We lay an incredible amount of markups down on these prints and have pushed the limits of this program to the eXtreme (please forgive the pun). Have been in touch with BB support a ton over the past year and have worked on a variety of prints. I have made profiles for construction as well as installations which also is connected to the bidding software that I use where i set price and time on all my takeoffs that I got from measuring my drawings. And the fact that you can make custom profiles and tools, is something I can live without in my work as estimator. I´ve heard from source that apparently they are working on new rendering "motors" and my guess therefore is that there is some traces of that inside program already even though it´s not deployed and that might be what´s causing all this.īut all that aside I haven´t come across any software in the pricerange that is better or more user friendly. But now with 2018.3.4 rendering is the biggest issue. The biggest issue for me as everyday user in 2018 has been up to last patch the hiccup or lock of current tool used. I know no longer work as a part of their community due to new employment. It´s more likely a step towards the new trend on construction sites with big touch flatscreen "tv´s" used rather then conventional drawing stands with plans being outdated at times before breakfast. It has very little to do with make it look and feel like being closer to the iPad application. I like it however and understand the conversion. The program itself has become much better over the years but the big revamp of UI in 2018 was a real headache for many.

I can say as much as this I have worked with Bluebeam since 2011 to 2018 as reseller and support (support on everyday small issues).
